The water sport of snorkeling reveals to the tourists the aquatic life of Lakshadweep. Snorkeling is the practice of swimming at the surface of a body of water while equipped with a diving mask, a shaped tube called a snorkel, and usually swim fins. In cooler waters, a wetsuit may also be worn. Combining these tools allows the snorkeler to observe underwater attractions for extended periods of time with relatively little effort.
In the unspoiled waters of the Blue Lagoon, living coral reefs of vibrant blue, green, and yellow ring Island and are home to colorful galaxies of fish, from lion fish to angel fish to butterfly fish. Through the resplendently clear blue water, you will see a spectacular display of ocean life, including squid, octopi, sea cucumbers, rays, crabs, and—of course—green or hawks bill turtles.

The island resorts and sports centers are equipped with provisions required to participate in water sports. The lagoons are composed of the live corals and fishes that make the marine flora and fauna. The island of Bangaram is surrounded by the shallow waters that are favorable for the sport of snorkeling. The water sport is practiced in the island of Kavaratti also.
